Institut d'Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri (INES-Ruhengeri) in collaboration with Ministry of Health in the framework of 4X4 Strategy is excited to announce a funded scholarship opportunities for the Bachelor of Science with Honors in Anesthesia and Biomedical Laboratory Sciences programs.
Application Period: From 5th-11th March 2026
Eligibility Criteria:
1. At least Grade C in Biology and Chemistry for the Applicants in Anaesthesia program and Grade D in Biology and Chemistry for the Applicants in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences
2. Completed general secondary education with one of the following principal subjects: Physics- Chemistry-Biology, Mathematics-Chemistry-Biology, Biology-Chemistry-Geography.
Admission Test and Selection process:
1. Candidates who meet minimum admission requirements as mentioned above will sit for an admission test scheduled on 16th and 17th March 2026.
2. Final selection of the scholarship beneficiaries will be based on the admission test score Note:
1. Final selected students to benefit the scholarships will sign a contract agreement with MoH to ensure their absorption into the health system after their graduation of which they will be required to serve for a minimum period of time.
2. Students currently receiving another scholarship funded by the Government or its partners, or those who have graduated from other university-level programs, are not eligible to apply. Any violation of these application requirements will result in immediate disqualification upon discovery, with potential additional sanctions depending on the level of the violation.
